The Day Chapel

Enjoy the majesty and inti­macy of the State Botanical Garden's Cecil B. Day Chapel. The space, designed to har­monize with the sur­round­ing hard­wood for­est, fea­tures a rich woo­den inte­rior bathed in nat­u­ral light. An elab­o­rately carved glass and maho­gany entrance pro­vides the pic­ture-per­fect gate­way to a truly mem­orable expe­ri­ence. Out­s­tand­ing acous­tics accom­pany the Chapel's visual beauty The recep­tion hall waits just down­s­tairs from the sanc­tuary and its din­ing area extends onto a gor­geous ter­race over­look­ing the nearby ravine. The Chapel was gra­ciously gifted to the Garden by the fam­ily of Cecil B. Day. We hope it will come to mean as much to you as it does to them.

The Gardenside Room

The ren­o­vated down­s­tairs of the Vis­i­tor Cen­ter & Conser­va­tory is the ideal sett­ing for large busi­ness pre­sen­ta­tions, fam­ily reu­nions or even wed­d­ing recep­tions. The Gar­den­side Room is fully equipped for dig­i­tal pre­sen­ta­tions and serves as a cheery lec­ture hall with bright sur­round­ings. The room over­looks the Inter­na­tio­nal Garden and the Conser­va­tory's trop­i­cal col­lec­tions. It also expands out onto the Gar­den­side Ter­race, incor­po­rat­ing the warmth and scen­ery of the Inter­na­tio­nal Garden into the Gar­den­side expe­ri­ence.

The Great Room

The vibrant flora of the State Botanical Garden's trop­i­cal col­lec­tions bring majesty to the Vis­i­tor Cen­ter Conser­va­tory year round. No mat­ter the sea­son, the Conser­va­tory Great Room offers the pre­mier space to host a black-tie din­ner, high school prom or com­pany gather­ing. With daz­zling light­ing, high glass ceil­ings and exotic green­ery the sett­ing becomes even more spec­tac­u­lar after sunset. Addi­tio­n­ally, the Great Room is only a short walk away from the Day Chapel, mak­ing it a con­ve­nient place for a wed­d­ing recep­tion. Of course, the Conser­va­tory itself also eas­ily accom­mo­dates large wed­d­ing cer­e­monies.

The Terrace Room

The Ter­race Room is a ver­satile space, suit­able for every­thing from an ele­gant wed­d­ing recep­tion to a mod­ern busi­ness pre­sen­ta­tion. The colo­nial decor pro­vided by the Garden Club of Georgia adds a spe­cial sophis­ti­ca­tion to events. Out­side, its expan­sive brick ter­race over­looks opu­lent land­s­caped gar­dens and lush native forests. With the mag­ni­f­i­cence of its stately ball­room, the Ter­race Room is sure to impress guests of your next din­ner, lec­ture, recep­tion, cele­bra­tion or com­pany retreat.

The Callaway Conference Area

The tim­ber-framed Call­away Build­ing blends smoothly into its hard­wood sur­round­ings. The con­fer­ence room, audi­to­rium and recep­tion area pro­vide for all of the needs of a large busi­ness gather­ing or fam­ily cele­bra­tion. Com­pany retreats, edu­ca­tio­nal pro­grams and man­age­rial con­fer­ences tran­s­cend the familiar busi­ness rou­tine in this relaxed envi­ron­ment. The invit­ing atmo­sphere will ensure that, whether you're enter­tain­ing your cowork­ers or loved ones, they will be com­fort­able and con­tent.
