Carnivorous Plants Certificate in Native Plants

Carnivorous Plants: Learn to Identify, Grow and Conserve Carnivorous Plants

Fee: $50

 

 

Participants will learn about different types of carnivorous plants, how they feed and their habitats. This will segue into a discussion of their unique growing requirements and the importance of conserving these unique plants. The class will take place as a live, four-hour online class and feature a virtual demonstration of planting a basic bog garden. If you allow these ravenous plants to “capture” your attention, your garden may never be the same again.

  • Carnivorous plant habitats
  • Cultivation of carnivorous plants
  • Conservation of carnivorous plants
  • How to create your own bog garden
