Native Plant Symposium

February 1, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Native Plant Symposium

$25 General Admission, $22.50 Members

Native plants are important for many reasons: they celebrate our region, they are well suited to grow in our area, they provide habitat, they are more digestible for our native insects (sometimes the only thing eaten during one stage in a life cycle), and they are part of a very complex, interrelated ecosystem that includes birds and mammals. Native plants can also be tough, beautiful garden plants for your home landscape. Join us for an evening of presentations on gardening with native flowers and trees and related conservation issues.
