In his 1973 book, A Coast to Coast Walk, Alfred Wainwright described a walk across Northern England in 12 stages, with a town with overnight accommodations at the end of each stage. For many this 192-mile unofficial footpath is a bucket-list item, a two week holiday, or even an annual event.

In August 2014, Alex Patterson joined a group to experience this famous walk from the Irish Sea to the North Sea, passing through three contrasting national parks: the Lake District National Park, the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and the North York Moors National Park.

Come hear about this amazing journey.
