The Callaway Building, a timber-framed building, is designed to blend into its natural setting. The first facility constructed at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, it was designed for meetings, conferences and educational programs, with the upper level featuring an open reception area, porch, conference room, and an auditorium.
The Callaway Building also houses the Botanical Garden Library, a small reading and research facility specializing in horticulture, botany and gardening. Offices and research laboratories are located on the lower level. Construction was made possible by a gift from the Callaway Foundation. |
