The Day Chapel, situated in a secluded hardwood forest, is one of the premier wedding facilities in the greater Athens area. Dedicated in 1994, the chapel was a gift to the Garden in memory of Cecil B. Day, Sr. by his family. The beautiful and unique design, extensive woodwork, intimate atmosphere and fine acoustics make it the perfect setting for your perfect day. Seating is provided for 130 people and includes a concert grand piano, available for use at a nominal fee. The lower level contains a reception hall which opens onto a beautiful garden terrace overlooking a steep woodland ravine. Also located on the lower level are dressing areas for both the bride and groom, restrooms, and a full catering kitchen, The reception room is well suited not only for wedding receptions, but is also an ideal location for rehearsal dinners, business meetings and retreats.
