A Walk on the Wild Side

This tour is for both flora and fauna lovers. From birds and bees to Bluebells and Bloodroot, this walk through the Shade and Native Flora Gardens is different each time. This tour is a great option for birders, as it focuses on one of the gardens that made us an Important Bird Area according to the Georgia Audubon Society.

Gardens in Bloom

The State Botanical Garden is a large place, but you won't miss out on any of the bright and beautiful flowers thanks to this tour. The tour route focuses on the Flower Garden and International Garden, but may venture out to other areas of the Garden that are especially beautiful during your visit.

Garden Sampler

If you have never had a tour of the State Botanical Garden, the Garden Sampler tour is a good one for you. Take a stroll through the Tropical Collection in our Conservatory, see gardens from different cultures in our International Garden and see the beauty of a formal Southern Garden in our Heritage Garden.

Edible Gardening

Do you want to learn about edible plants you can grow in your own yard? If so, then this is the tour for you. Featured stops in this tour are our Herb and Physic Garden, a Garden based on Monastic Gardens of old; The Mediterranean Section of our International Garden; and the Crop areas of our Heritage Garden, which shows how formal gardens can include traditional harvest crops.
