Membership Levels

From Stu­dent, Indi­vi­d­ual, Senior and Fam­ily mem­ber­ships to Patron, Spon­sor and Life mem­ber­ships, we have a level of mem­ber­ship that fits you. Friends mem­ber­ships are one year in length, and because we are a 501(c)(3) organi­za­tion, your mem­ber­ship is tax deducti­ble. All mem­ber­ships sup­port the State Botanical Garden of Georgia.

Programs, Tours and Events

Friends mem­bers gain more than just the sat­is­fac­tion of sup­port­ing the Garden. Friends have access to mem­ber-only plant sales, and can par­ti­ci­pate in Friends road trips to pri­vate gar­dens and attrac­tions such as the Bilt­more Estate and Call­away Gar­dens. The Friends also host an annual meet­ing, a key fea­ture of which is a “Gar­den Celebrity” who inspires Friends to get out and play in their gar­dens.

Discounts at this and other Gardens

Mem­ber­ship does have its priv­i­leges. Our mem­bers receive dis­counts on most of the Garden Events, Classes, and Sales. There are also dis­counts avai­l­able in our Garden shop, Don­deros’ Kitchen at the Garden, and some Athens area home and Garden cen­ters! Friends mem­ber­ships are good for dis­counts at many other gar­dens as well. Our par­ti­ci­pa­tion in The Amer­i­can Hor­ti­cul­tu­ral Soci­ety Recip­ro­cal Garden Pro­gram allows you to receive vari­ous dis­counts at many other gar­dens across the United States when you pre­sent your Friends mem­ber­ship card.

Become part of the Garden fam­ily today, or give a mem­ber­ship to a friend or loved one. Mem­ber­ships can be purchased or renewed online, by phone, by mail, in the Garden Gift Shop and at many of our Garden events.
