Connect to Protect Native Plant Sale

October 11, 2018, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 4:00 pm, repeating until October 12, 2018

Join the staff and volunteers of the Mimsie Lanier Center for SIX DAYS of plant-shopping among 100 Georgia native plant species! Held behind-the-scenes at the Mimsie Lanier Center for Native Plant Studies, State Botanical Garden of Georgia at the University of Georgia. These are plants chosen for their hardiness, beauty, and value to pollinators, ready to be incorporated into every kind of urban and suburban garden and patio. Native plant experts can guide your selections and inspire you to try new species. All of our plants are grown here at the garden, the majority from locally collected seeds, and all without harmful chemicals. Find plants that support Georgia’s birds and insects and see behind the scenes at the Mimsie Lanier Center. All sales benefit the Center’s conservation efforts and our “Connect to Protect” community outreach program.
