Birds and Blooms is a creative way to connect gardening and the arts, bringing people together in a safe, inspiring, and soothing atmosphere. Join Artist Leigh Ellis, a well-known watercolorist and teacher based in Athens, as she discusses her lovely work. Leigh will be painting a hummingbird during a live demonstration. One fortunate attendee will take home this original piece. Shelly Prescott, director of horticulture, will also be taking guests on a colorful and fascinating journey through the conservatory, pointing out plants from some of the most botanically rich regions of the world. Enjoy light refreshments and drinks. Birds and Blooms is part of the Essential Garden Series.
