A Walk in the Children’s Garden

$60 General Admission

Don’t miss Dr. Allan Armitage, a renowned writer, speaker and horticulturalist, as he takes a walk through the Children’s Garden. He will highlight, in his unique style, how families can bring plants and gardening alive for children. Dr A. will spotlight interesting features in the garden, highlight native plants and pollinators, and illustrate how we can get kids excited about this thing we call gardening.

The prospect of plunging our hands in the soil has gained remarkable appeal during a time this time of Covid-19. Who knew that so many new gardeners would have reconnected to the earth and the natural world around us? As Allan maintains, “These times of the coronavirus has clearly illustrated that gardening has become essential to our mental well-being. It gives us all something to look forward to.”

Join Dr A. on one of his renowned walkabouts as he helps us bring the garden to our children.
