The nostalgic art of pressed flowers began about 500 years ago when people started collecting botanical specimens. Initially specimens were glued to paper with a small index card indicating the plants names and location. Gradually, specimens were arranged in a more artistic ways and thus began the art of pressed flowers. Join Debra Knight who has been practicing this art form for 16 years. She will teach you the art of pressing flowers and each participant will make their own bookmark and notecard.
