2020 marks the 20th year of the Sunflower Concert Series at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, and to celebrate, and to offer the series in a safe, world-wide-accessible environment, the concerts will be broadcast virtually. The Klezmer Local 42 concert will be available on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 7 pm till 9 pm. A Meet & Greet session with the band will follow at 9:15 pm. Links to the concert and the Meet & Greet will be sent to you via email Monday before the event.
Klezmer Local 42 perform in five different languages while incorporating other influences into their music, without straying away from traditional Klezmer. They are very professional artists that take Klezmer music seriously but don’t take themselves too seriously. Clay Leverett will perform the opening set. Clay is a fine country singer, veering into rock, and will be sure to entertain.
