The Sunflower Concert Series at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia is an opportunity for the community to enjoy music in the garden.
The concerts, held in the Flower Garden, offer visitors an unparalleled experience. Some of Athens’ finest musicians perform in a beautiful horticultural setting. Each concert includes beverages and people are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and picnic suppers to enjoy in the garden. Concerts will be held inside the Visitor Center and Conservatory if weather necessitates.
Ticket prices for single concerts are $24 for adults, $20 for Friends of the Garden members, and $12 for children ages 5-16. Children under 5 are admitted free of charge. Adult tickets purchased at the gate will be $26.
The opener for the Randall Bramblett Band will be Caroline Aiken, a talented and respected singer, songwriter and musician. Among her accomplishments, she has been nominated for a Grammy in “Best Contemporary Folk CD,” opened for Bonnie Raitt, Arlo Guthrie, Doc Watson, and others, performed on NPR’s Mountain Stage and released nine CDs.
