Natural History of Georgia’s Insects

$50 General Admission, $45 Members

This course is intended to be a hands on learning experience for attendees. Participants will hike landscaped, ornamental and forested areas collecting and identifying insects while learning about their environmental and natural history roles. The UGA Insect Zoo will also be on site for additional opportunities to handle insects and related arthropods. By the end of the course attendees will be able to identify insects and arthropods commonly found in Georgia and leave with a basic understanding of the roles they have in our daily lives.
