Norber’t B. MillerVisitor Center Art Exhibit

FreeNorber’t B. Miller was born in New Orleans in 1948. He spent much of his youth drawing and painting the wetlands and bayous of southern Louisiana. He received his bachelor degree from Memphis College of Arts in 1973 and his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Georgia in 1979. Norbert served as chief interpreter at the Jekyll Island Museum in 1988 and between 1989 and 1991 he taught art history at Brunswick College and Georgia Military College. In 1997 he wrote and produced Chasing Caribou, a multimedia concert was performed at the Morton Theatre in 1999. He has recently published his first novel, Overleaf, in 2011. Norber’t is currently working on a sequel to Overleaf and a new series of fine arts drawings and paintings. He is retired and currently lives in Savannah.
