9th Annual Native Plant Sale – An Online Sale! 

Fall is the best time to plant so come visit the 2020 Connect to Protect Online plant sale this October. It may be online,with scheduled plant pickup times, but just as grand! The focus of this year’s sale is the Year of the Pollinator with Solidago, a pollinator fall favorite. The Mimsie Lanier Center for Native Plant Studies staff have grown Georgia natives and pollinator friendly plants that are healthy and ready to be planted in your yard today!

Online Plant Sale FAQ's

On the front page of the store, there will be a section that showcases new additions to the store that we will try to update weekly

Under the current circumstances, all plant sales must be final. No refunds, returns, or exchanges are allowed. If you have concerns about your plant material, please notify us at pick up.

Yes. You will receive 2 emails from the Garden. The first will be a Thank you that is automated on order completion. The second will be the notice that our Horticulture staff have received your order and are working to get it ready for pickup.

After you complete your purchase you will receive emails stating your order has been completed and then fulfilled. Both of these emails link to our scheduling tool that will allow you to pick a date and time between October 6 and November 6.

We schedule pickups between the hours of 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm as well as 4:00 pm till 6:00pm on Wednesday and Thursday. We also have slots available on Fridays from 12:00 pm till 2:00pm and from 3:00 pm till 5:00pm

YES! Our Friends Members will be able to enter a promotional code and get 10% off their order. If your not a member or you need to renew your membership, then just select the Friends Membership section and add a membership to your cart

 


Virtual Plant Sale Preview Party

Our annual Fall Preview event is also going online. A Virtual Native Plant Sale Preview will be held on Friday, Oct. 2, from 6-7 p.m. The proceeds of this event will support our garden’s conservation efforts and provides you with a special interactive evening with native plant experts.

During the event our conservation staff will highlight their favorite plant pairings using this year’s featured plant– Solidago. A final Q&A session will give you the opportunity to ask your questions about garden design, maintenance and more. Registration fee also includes a recipe for a specialty beverage featuring Mountain Mint!
