Certificate in Native Plants – Tifton: Elective Course
Cost: $50 Member Cost: $45
The course will provide historical context for understanding the significance of plants in treating human diseases. The value and diversity of familiar medicinal plants from around the world and the methods used to search for potential new sources of medicines will be explored. Native, naturalized, and commonly cultivated medicinal plants of the southeastern United States will be emphasized along with their traditional and modern uses.
Please note that this class is part of a new program and is located outside of the Athens area.
