The Day Chapel

Enjoy the beauty and intimacy of the State Botanical Garden’s Cecil B. Day Chapel for your special event. The space, designed to harmonize with the surrounding hardwood forest, features a welcoming interior bathed in natural light. An elaborately carved glass and mahogany entrance provides the picture-perfect gateway to a truly memorable experience. Outstanding acoustics accompany the Chapel’s visual beauty. The reception hall downstairs and its dining area extends onto a gorgeous patio. The Chapel was given graciously to the garden by the family of Cecil B. Day. We hope it will come to mean as much to you as it does to them.

The Gardenside Room

The renovated downstairs of the Visitor Center & Conservatory is the ideal setting for business presentations, family reunions or parties. The Gardenside Room is fully equipped for digital presentations. Need a break? Step outside onto the Gardenside Room patio and into the beautiful International Garden.

The Great Room

The State Botanical Garden’s tropical collection provides beauty to the Visitor Center & Conservatory year-round. No matter the season, the Conservatory’s Great Room offers the premier space to host a wedding, high school prom or company gathering. With high glass ceilings and exotic greenery, the setting becomes more spectacular after sunset. Additionally, the Great Room is only a short walk away from the Day Chapel, making it a magnificent place for a wedding reception.

The Terrace Room

The Terrace Room, located downstairs in the Garden Club of Georgia, is a versatile space, suitable for everything from a business presentation to a wedding. The decor provided by the Garden Club of Georgia adds a special sophistication to events. The expansive brick terrace overlooks the Discovery and Inspiration Garden. With the magnificence of its stately ballroom, the Terrace Room is sure to impress guests at your next dinner, lecture, reception, celebration or company retreat.

The Porcelain and Decorative Arts Museum

The Porcelain and Decorative Arts Museum is the newest world-class facility at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. The porcelain pieces on display highlight works inspired by nature, particularly flowers, butterflies and birds. The two-story 8,750 square foot facility includes beautiful gallery spaces and a large classroom that opens onto the display gardens to expand the learning experience. The classroom also provides a fully equipped meeting space for digital presentations and special events.
