Want to be more involved at the garden? Joining the Friends of the Garden is the easiest way to become more engaged in the activities of the State Botanical Garden of Georgia!
The Friends of the Garden allow members to support the garden’s work and mission while gaining a closer connection to the people who make it grow. Friends receive many benefits, including a 10% discount on events and programs offered at the garden, and exclusive invitations to advance plant sales, horticulture talks and trips to other regional attractions. Additionally, the garden’s magazine, Georgia Garden, is exclusively mailed to Friends of the Garden members three times a year.
Ways to give or become a member
Become part of the garden family today, or gift a membership to a friend or loved one. Memberships can be purchased or renewed online, by phone or mail, in the garden gift shop and at many garden events.
Membership levels
The garden has a level of membership that suits every interest! Memberships range from student, individual, senior and family members to patron, sponsor and life memberships. Friends memberships are renewed on an annual basis, and because the garden is a 501(c)(3) organization, memberships are tax-deductible. All memberships support projects that enhance the garden’s objectives and keep admission free for all.

- 10% discount at the Garden Gift Shop in the Visitor Center and Conservatory
