Please join us as we explore the myths, mysteries and marvels of Nature through the traditional art of storytelling. This event is suitable for all ages and families are welcome.
Always a storyteller at heart, Tommy Tye began telling stories publicly to enrich his work as a naturalist. He has found that the art of story brings nature alive for his students. Through the ages, humans hunkered around the fire sharing their hopes, fears, triumphs and tragedies. Transcending mere entertainment, stories bonded community members, preserved cultural components and transmitted the collective wisdom of the community. Nothing has changed.
