    Bring a friend and join us for a hands-on flower arranging workshop! Carol McKeen, Tropical Collection & Herb and Physic Garden curator, will lead you step by step in creating a stunning arrangement to take home — vase included. All supplies are provided, and guests can also enjoy drinks and light appetizers.

    Due to unforeseen circumstances, this event has been canceled. Join us for a chocolate tasting and presentation by Peter Dale of Condor Chocolates. Also learn about the cacao bean and some of the unique orchids in the garden’s collection from Jason Young, director of horticulture and grounds. Guests can also enjoy drinks and appetizers.

    Orchid Repotting Class

    State Botanical Garden Horticulture Complex 2450 S Milledge Ave, Athens

    Horticulture staff will lead a hands-on orchid repotting class. Basic supplies of orchid repotting media are included. Choose one of six 20-minute sessions. Please only bring one orchid and a pot for repotting. An orchid repotting kit is also offered for an additional $25 and includes extra media for future repotting and a small pot.
