Garden Guided Tours

The State Botanical Garden of Georgia has several themed gardens among its 323 acres. A Guided Garden Tour is the best way to ensure your group doesn’t miss a thing. Group tours last approximately 1½ hours and are led by experienced and enthusiastic tour guides. We aim to provide one tour guide per 10 guests to ensure a special tour experience.

Tour times: Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and Sunday, noon-3 p.m.

Tours are $5 per person ($50 minimum per tour).

Group tours must be booked at least one week in advance.

Please contact Andrea Fischer at afischer@uga.edu or at 706-542-6195 to book your group tour.

Announcing Walk-up Wednesdays!

Joining a guided garden tour is a wonderful way to experience a botanical garden. The State Botanical Garden of Georgia has always offered guided tours for groups of 10-200 people. What if you don’t have a group of 10, but you’d still like a guided tour?

On Wednesdays, for only $5 per person, you can take a 1-hour guided tour through our tropical conservatory, the history-filled Heritage Garden and the inspiring Herb & Physic Gardens. Tours leave from the Visitor Center lobby at 11 a.m. and are finished by noon.

For more information, please contact Andrea Fischer at afischer@uga.edu or 706-542-6195.
