The State Botanical Garden of Georgia at the University of Georgia is located approximately 70 miles east of Atlanta and is a short drive from downtown Athens.
Admission and parking at the garden is free. If you enjoy the garden, we ask that you please consider making a small donation at the visitor’s desk or learning about other ways you can support the garden.
No pets are allowed on garden property, with the exception of service animals.

The garden is on the Riverbend and South Milledge UGA bus route, and runs 3 times/hour. Please inform your driver that you would like to visit the garden, or if you are at the garden and wish to travel to another location on the route, please call UGA Campus Transit (706-369-6220 or 706-369-6221) to request that the next bus picks you up. The route operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 6:20 p.m.
