Habitat loss is one of the leading causes of decline for native pollinators globally. Growing your own pollinator garden can help address this issue and support a healthier environment for future generations.

Our Georgia Pollinator Partnership Map displays pollinator gardens across the state. By mapping your garden with us, partners within GAPP can better track the types of pollinator resources available across Georgia.

Add your garden to the map to help us fill the GAPP!

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my location be protected?

Yes! You can indicate on our survey form if your garden is not open to the public. This buffers your location to the zip code to protect your privacy.

What does it mean to have your garden certified?

Some organizations (listed in the FAQ below) have specific requirements that must be met to certify a garden, such as overall size and the percentage of native plants.

Is the use of pesticides/herbicides allowed?

Our organization currently imposes no restrictions on the use of pesticides and herbicides; however, we strongly recommend limiting their use, particularly pesticides, which pose a significant threat to pollinators.

Do I have to have native plants in my garden?

We strongly encourage the use of native plants, but there is no specific required amount to add your garden to the map.

What size does my garden need to be?

There is no size requirement. We love all gardens, big or small! Plant what you can with the space you have.

I live in a neighborhood with an HOA. Is there a way for me to have a pollinator garden?

Yes! Visit the links below to see more about how to manage owning a pollinator garden with an HOA.
